Professor Carlos Martinez

Professor Carlos Martinez brings 15 years of industry experience in information security to the Cybersecurity program at Lakeview Community College. Before entering education, he served as Chief Information Security Officer at a Fortune 500 financial services firm, where he built and led a team of 40 security professionals.

Professor Martinez holds multiple industry certifications including CISSP, CISM, and CEH. He is passionate about preparing the next generation of cybersecurity professionals and regularly invites industry guest speakers to share real-world perspectives with students.
